Iona Fyfe, BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2017 Finalistin und ebenfalls 2017 nominiert für Scots Singer of the Year bei den MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards, singt seit ihrer Kindheit. Heute, im zarten Alter von 20 Jahren und mit einer gründlichen Ausbildung am Konservatorium in Glasgow im Rücken, ist sie bereits mehrfach ausgezeichnet und eine von Schottlands vielversprechendsten Folksängerinnen. Sie kombiniert zeitgenössische Musik mit dem traditionellen, balladen-reichen Liedgut ihrer Heimat Aberdeenshire.
