Die "Dogs" sind eine der besten Bands, die Schottland zu bieten hat - als einzige Band bisher wurden sie zweimal als Folk Band of the Year bei den Scots Trad Music Awards ausgezeichnet (2004 und 2007).

Wer denkt, er hätte schon alles gehört, was man mit einem schottischen Dudelsack anstellen kann, der wird von Youngster Ali Hutton, mit Sicherheit einer der versiertesten Piper seiner Generation, eines Besseren belehrt. Jonny Hardie an Vocals und Fiddle ist tief in der schottischen Tradition verwurzelt und hat ein markantes, typisch schottisches Timbre in seiner Stimme, das sich hervorragend mit Aaron Jones' mehr von Singer-Songwritern wie James Taylor beeinflussten Vocals ergänzt. Jones ist an Bouzouki und Gitarre ein Virtuose und sorgt zusammen mit Donald Hay an Drums und Percussion für einen treibenden Beat, der garantiert in die Beine fährt. Die ideale Band für das Finale von Folk am Neckar 2016!
